What Purdue's Jeff Brohm said during Week 1 press conference
Jeff Brohm doesn’t want to reveal his hand too early.
On Monday, the Purdue head coach held a press conference to start off Week 1 of the college football season, really digging into the team’s preparation for Northwestern.
Well, maybe “digging in” isn’t the proper terminology, but you get the idea.
Brohm was asked about his thoughts on opening the year against a 10-win Northwestern team, how many newcomers will see significant snaps and the situation at running back.
On playing B1G West foe Northwestern in Week 1:
Brohm: "It’s an opportunity, a chance to see how we measure. It's very important game."

On the running back situation:
Jeff Brohm said he doesn't expect all of his RBs to be available on Thursday. D.J. Knox, Markell Jones and Alexander Horvath should be healthy. Asked about RB Tario Fuller's status, Jeff Brohm said, "We'll see."
