Purdue started off the 2018 season with a tough conference loss to Northwestern, falling 31-27 to the Wildcats. But it was a performance head coach Jeff Brohm believes his team can build from.

This is the second-straight season the Boilermakers have started the year 0-1, but there’s a belief that the program is still in strong shape and could be a tough opponent for several B1G teams. Rondale Moore, who was named co-Freshman of the Week, also provided a spark.
