Purdue's second-highest rated commit for 2021 chooses to de-commit, open up recruitment
Bryon Threats is a three-star prospect and the No. 40 athlete in the Class of 2021 according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
Threats, up until Saturday, was verbally committed to Purdue. He was the Boilermakers’ second-highest rated recruit for the 2021 class. However, that all changed Saturday afternoon:

Threats is choosing to de-commit and re-open his recruitment. This obviously hurts if you’re a Boilermaker fan. Purdue’s 2021 class now consists of eight commits and ranks No. 76 nationally and No. 14 in the B1G.
For B1G purposes, Threats also holds scholarship offers from Michigan State and Indiana. Threats originally committed to Purdue earlier this year in April.
