Former Purdue player personnel director Eron Hodges has found a new home, according to a report.
That’s per Yahoo!’s Pete Thamel, who says Hodges is nearing a deal to become Texas Tech’s next recruiting director.

FootballScoop is also reporting that this deal has been finalized.
Hodges worked as an assistant player personnel director during part of the Urban Meyer era at Ohio State. He was also an analyst and a strength and conditioning coach during his time with the Buckeyes. He left Columbus after the 2018 season to join the Boilermakers.
Hodges and Purdue parted ways in early January. Here’s a note he sent out on Twitter to players at Purdue:

Hodges had a role in Purdue’s 2020 recruiting class, which was ranked No. 32 nationally by 247Sports Composite rankings. However, Purdue’s 2021 class is significantly less-heralded, coming in at No. 74.
