Jones, originally from Miami, is reportedly joining the Florida State Seminoles. Jones originally announced his intent on transferring on Dec. 20, 2019.
““I had a talk with my support team and my family and Florida State what was on the table and that was my best offer so I took it,” he told Noles247 over the phone about the decision. “I wanted another opportunity and I got it.
“Coming as a non-scholarship guy, everything is almost on you. Keep your head down and go to work everyday.”
Jones is joining the Seminoles as a walk-on and is not on scholarship.
