Report: Purdue not retaining another key assistant heading into 2021
It looks like Purdue may be letting go of another big-time assistant heading into next season.
According to Brian Neubert of GoldandBlack.com, Eron Hodges, who’s the director of player personnel, will not be returning to the school:

Hodges had been in that role for the last three years and was a big key in some of their recruiting classes.
He first came to Purdue in April of 2018 after he had been with Ohio State. According to Neubert, Hodges helped Purdue sign the No. 26 ranked recruiting class in 2019 and then the No. 30 ranked class in 2020.
Before this opening was created, the Boilermakers decided to part ways with Bob Diaco as defensive coordinator after just one season on the job. They also let go of cornerbacks coach Greg Brown, who had been there for the last two seasons.
We’ll have to see if more changes are coming as Jeff Brohm continues to evaluate his staff.
