Report: Purdue WR, former 3-star prospect enters transfer portal
A Purdue wide receiver is electing to enter the transfer portal, according to Rivals. Marcellus Moore, who was a three-star prospect in the Class of 2020, is going into the portal after appearing in 4 games in his 2-year career for Purdue.
The 5-foot-8, 165-pound Moore totaled one reception and carried the ball once this season.

Moore committed to Purdue over other programs such as Arkansas, Ball State, Bowling Green, and Cincinnati.
Purdue is currently 3-2 this season. Most recently, the Boilermakers lost to Minnesota 20-13 and will travel to face Iowa in Week 7 on Oct. 16 (3:30 p.m. EST/ABC) after a bye this week. Purdue won last season’s meeting 24-20, one of only two losses for Iowa in 2020.
Purdue leads the all-time series 49-39-3 vs. Iowa.
