Report: Undrafted Purdue center signs with Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors have reportedly agreed to terms with a former Purdue player. Sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium that Trevion Williams is the latest addition to the defending champs’ roster.
In his final season with the Boilermakers, Williams averaged 12 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 3 assists per game. He also shot 35.7% from the 3-point line and made 59.7% of his free throws. Sasha Stefanovic also went undrafted, but has since joined the San Antonio Spurs’ summer league team. Williams was signed off of the Boston Celtics summer league team.
The contract will be an Exhibit 10 deal, which is a 1-year deal worth the minimum amount of money a player can make in the NBA per the collective bargaining agreement.
If the reports are true, this could be a great opportunity for Williams.
