Senior Day will be extra special for Purdue’s Sasha Stefanovic. Not only will he be celebrating an outstanding career, he was able to enjoy some team and individual success on Saturday.

Stefanovic scored 15 points in Purdue’s thrilling 69-67 victory over Indiana on Saturday, the final game of the regular season. It was a great way for the senior to go out at Mackey Arena, helping lead his team to a win.

In the process, Stefanovic connecting of 3-of-6 shots from behind the 3-point line. His buckets from behind the arc bumped him ahead of Purdue legend Robbie Hummel on the school’s all-time 3-point leaderboard.

Hummel was at No. 7 on that list, totaling 216 3-pointers for his career. The next-highest in Ryan Cline, he dropped in 238 whil with the Boilermakers.

Stefanovic has been a 3-point weapon throughout most of his career at Purdue. He’s shooting right at 40% for his career from long range, an impressive career mark.

This season, Stefanovic is averaging 11.2 points per game and has been successful on more than 40% of his shots from the 3-point line. For Purdue to find success in the postseason, it’ll need its senior leader to knock down a few more from deep.
