A Purdue defensive tackle has decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal. He spent four seasons with the Boilermakers before exploring opportunities elsewhere.

Jeff Marks, a 6-foot-3, 280-pound defensive tackle will start looking for a new home after entering his name into the database. He will still have two seasons of eligibility to use at his next destination.

GoldandBlack.com reported the news.

Per his player profile on PurdueSports.com, Marks saw the most playing time during his first season in West Lafayette in 2018. That year, he appeared in all 13 games for the Boilers and registered 3 tackles.

Marks appeared in just 4 games total during the 2019 and 2021 seasons. He did not play in 2020. The defensive tackle will leave West Lafayette with 7 total tackles to his name, 3 of which he recorded this past year.

Purdue ended the 2021 season with a 9-4 record.
