Status of Purdue WR Rondale Moore revealed for Week 2
Purdue fans will have to wait a bit longer to see Rondale Moore in action this season.
Moore was the breakout performer of the country in 2018, bursting onto the scene as an impact freshman for the Boilermakers. Unfortunately, he lost a lot of time in 2019 due to a knee injury.
After initially opting out for 2020 and then rejoining the team for the season, many fans were excited for the chance to see Moore and fellow impact receiver David Bell together again. Fans will just have to wait a bit longer for that after Moore missed Week 1 and will now miss Week 2 vs Illinois.
Brett McMurphy shared the news on Twitter:
Purdue star WR Rondale Moore remains out for 2nd consecutive week & will not play today vs. Illinois

Fortunately, Bell went off in Week 1 as the Boilermakers took down Iowa. Milton Wright also did a nice job in the No. 2 role, but Moore will hopefully be back soon for Purdue.
