The 2020 recruiting cycle has been a bit slow for Purdue so far, but the Boilermakers added another commit to the train on Friday.

Josh Kaltenberger, a three-star offensive lineman out of Pennsylvania, gave his verbal commitment to Purdue on Friday morning. He made his announcement via Twitter. He becomes the fourth player in the class to commit to Jeff Brohm and company.

“I know this was a quick decision, but I know this is where God wants me,” Kaltenberger wrote on Twitter. “There is no other school I’d rather be! With that being said, I am announcing my commitment to Purdue University.”

According to 247Sports, Kaltenberger is ranked as the No. 21 offensive center in the 2020 class and is the 17th-best prospect out of Pennsylvania. The 6-foot-5, 280-pound lineman chose Purdue over offers from Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Buffalo and several other programs.

Kaltenberger is the third offensive lineman to commit to Purdue. Prior to Kaltenberger’s commitment, the Boilermakers’ 2020 class ranked 81st nationally and was last in the B1G.
