The first career catch for Purdue TE Garrett Miller comes on 4th down, results in 40-yard TD
Purdue is hanging with Northwestern early on.
After falling behind 10-3, Purdue forced an interception by Wildcats QB Peyton Ramsey and didn’t take long to cash in.
A few players later, tight end Garrett Miller got loose in the open field for this touchdown — and his first career catch:

Miller is a redshirt freshman from Round Rock, Texas.
That’s a clutch catch-and-run for Miller, who also converted a 4th down on the play.
Northwestern’s defense is rated as one of the nation’s best, making this all-the-more impressive. The Wildcats haven’t conceded a second-half point all season.
There’s a lot on the line in this game between two undefeated Big Ten West rivals. The winner will be in the driver’s seat — along with Wisconsin — for the division crown.
Northwestern has won five of the last six meetings between these programs.
