Purdue has added three more home games to its future non-conference schedules, the program announced on Friday.

The Boilermakers have added home games against three Group of Five opponents to the 2022, 2025 and 2027 schedules. With the new opponents now on the slate, Purdue’s non-conference football schedules are set through the 2026 season.

Florida Atlantic (2022), Ball State (2025) and Miami (OH) (2027) have all agreed to make the trip to Ross-Ade Stadium. Below are the dates in which the Boilers will host the three games, according to the release from Purdue:

  • Sept. 24, 2022: vs. Florida Atlantic
  • Aug. 30, 2025: vs. Ball State
  • Sept. 18, 2027: vs. Miami (OH)

Purdue has played Miami more than the other two opponents added to future schedules. The Boilermakers and RedHawks have met 12 times on the gridiron, with Purdue owning a 9-3-1 series lead. The two teams last met in 2006, a 38-31 win for the Boilers.

Ball State has also been a somewhat frequent opponent for Purdue, playing eight times in the past. The Boilermakers own an 8-0 series advantage in the head-to-head series with the last matchup being a 24-13 win in 2010.

Purdue has never played Florida Atlantic.
