Purdue sophomore Garrett Miller took his opportunity to start against Minnesota this weekend, and made sure everyone knew he was there. When Minnesota’s Tyler Nubin went low to make the tackle, Miller hurdled the Gophers defensive back to pick up another 10 yards.

Boilermakers junior tight end Payne Durham was ruled out for the game against the Gophers, and Miller started in his place.

At the half, the reception was the only of the game for Miller, who has 4 receptions for 19 yards on the season so far — Purdue leads Minnesota 14-10 at the break.
