Washington is officially adding JaMarcus Shephard to Kalen DeBoer’s coaching staff, the school announced on Thursday.

Since 2017, Shephard had been a part of Jeff Brohm’s Purdue staff coaching WRs. He added the role of co-OC in 2018.

Now, Shephard is headed to Washington. According to the release by the Huskies, Shephard will coach WRs and will also have the roles of associate head coach and passing game coordinator.

“I am excited to welcome JaMarcus and his family to our program,” said Deboer. “I’ve followed his success over the years and always been impressed with how hard and well coached his players are. He’s done a great job recruiting top talent and proven to have the ability to develop them while under his guidance. JaMarcus is a great fit with our staff and I am excited about the impact he will have on wide receiver position group, our offense and our program as a whole.”

Shephard’s work with Purdue’s receivers speaks for itself with Rondale Moore and David Bell among the stars to progress under Shephard’s tutelage.
