By now, you know all about Tyler Trent. The remarkable and inspiring story of the Purdue student and superfan battling bone cancer. has been featured on local news stations, College GameDay and ABC’s Good Morning America.
On Saturday night, Trent was in attendance for Purdue’s 49-20 upset win over Ohio State, an outcome he predicted. He had the opportunity to address the team in the locker room and opened up the post-game press conference following the victory.
And on Wednesday, ESPN helped make another one of Trent’s dreams come true. He considered it a goal to work with SportsCenter host Scott Van Pelt. So, with an ESPN microphone in hand, Trent joined Van Pelt’s show for a segment.
It was another spectacular moment for Trent and helps remind sports fans what’s really important. The link to the segment is below. And it’s wonderful.
