Louisville wouldn’t have been confused for Disney World on Wednesday night.

It was arguably the unhappiest place on earth after Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm decided to stay in West Lafayette rather than return to his alma mater. It was a choice that rubbed a lot of Cardinal fans the wrong way.

One fan took Brohm’s decision particularly hard. After announcement came, he decided to burn two Louisville jerseys. But they weren’t Jeff Brohm jerseys that were tossed into the fireplace. It was the jersey of his brother, Brian Brohm.

Yeah, that’ll show him.

Brohm was expected to be a lock to return to Louisville. He was the No. 1 candidate after the Cardinals fired Bobby Petrino and many thought the alma mater would beat out Purdue.

But after earning another postseason bid and success on the recruiting trail, Brohm decided to remain the leader of the Boilermakers.
