Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm took time to join the BTN Tailgate crew just hours ahead of kickoff, and he even addressed a direct question about speculation he could leave the Boilermakers after the season.

Brohm did discuss his favorite moments from his short time at Purdue while also breaking down the game against Wisconsin. However, it did not take long for a question to surface around the ongoing rumors that Louisville may be interested in Brohm to takeover as head coach.

“Are you going to be the coach here next year?” Brohm was asked during the segment. To his credit, Brohm did not dodge the question and maintained that he is happy and focused where he is at:

“Once again, complete speculation, complete false,” said Brohm. “I love it where I’m at, we’ve got a lot of work to do here. I’ve been very transparent with our football team. Normally I don’t even address those things, but since some stuff came out I did. Our guys are good to go, they understand we’ve got a lot of work to do, a great opponent coming up.”

None of this means Brohm is definitely staying or going. However, it should be a good sign that he remains focused on guiding Purdue to a potential bowl game over the final weeks of the season.
