WATCH: Jeopardy contestant misses 'Daily Double' question about Purdue
This one hurts for Purdue fans. Actually, it hurts for all B1G fans.
On a recent Jeopardy! episode, one contestant selected one of the Daily Double questions, giving him the opportunity to add some money to his total. And his question seemed to be a fairly easy one, at least for those who reside in B1G country and West Lafayette.
The question: “This Big 10 school in Indiana kicked off in 1869, named for one of its early financial supporters.”
The contestant’s answer? Watch the video:

That’s right, he went with Marquette, which is located in Wisconsin, not Indiana. Oh, and it’s not in the B1G, either.
I’m sure Purdue fans are cringing right now.
Maybe next time a contestant will know the answer to a Purdue question. This time, though, he was way off.
