Missouri was on the verge of pulling away. But Purdue made a few big plays at the end of the first half and got right back in the game.

In the second quarter, the Tigers owned a 27-10 lead and appeared to be making quick work of the Boilermakers in West Lafayette. But a few big plays from Rondale Moore helped get Purdue to the end zone, making it a two score game.

Then, the Boilermakers got a huge blocked field goal from Jacob Thieneman, setting up another touchdown drive for Purdue.

Instead of a lopsided score at halftime, the Boilermakers pulled to within three points and made things entertaining for the final two quarters.

We’ve got ourselves a shootout in West Lafayette.
