Purdue got its first win of the season on Saturday when the Boilermakers out-gunned Vanderbilt 42-24.
The high-flying Purdue offense was on full display, as quarterback Elijah Sindelar threw for 509 yards and wide receiver Rondale Moore caught 13 passes for 220 yards.
At one point during the team’s explosive offensive performance, Purdue president Mitch Daniels decided to do some pushups. Why?
Because the Boilermakers just scored a TD and got to 28 points. So, Daniels proceeded to do 28 pushups.
Take a look:
I can't make this up.. After one of many #Purdue touchdowns against Vanderbilt, President of the University @purduemitch flipped his hat backwards, dropped down with the drum line, and gave 'em 28. This guy loves the Boilers. pic.twitter.com/S3X07QweU2

This is great. When the school’s president gets involved in a positive manner, you know things are going well. On Saturday, things were going well for the Boilermakers when they got their first win of the season.
