You have to give Purdue credit for its passing attack. Maybe this year hasn’t been great, but the Boilermakers have proven they can air out the football.

David Blough did that again in the first half on Saturday in Minneapolis.

After starting the game down 10-0 to Minnesota, Purdue got things rolling offensively. Trailing 10-7, Blough hooked up with receiver Cameron Posey for an 89-yard TD strike to give the Boilermakers their first lead of the afternoon.

Blough – the conference’s leader in passing yardage so far this season – recorded his 18th TD strike with this completion. It was Posey’s first TD grab of the afternoon.
