The story of Tyler Trent took the country by storm a season ago.
The former Purdue student and fan won over everybody’s hearts, and, rightfully so. Trent showcased heart, determination, strength a positive attitude and many more aspects of himself during his battle against bone cancer.
Trent passed away earlier this year, but Purdue is keeping the school’s super-fan in its hearts. The Boilermakers are dedicating their student gate in Trent’s name and with the moniker “T2” which was Trent’s signature mark.
Here’s a look at the video of the unveiling on Saturday, which also marks what would have been his 21st birthday:
Here it is, unveiled to the world! The T2 Student Gate forever enshrined on the east side of Ross-Ade Stadium.
