DJ Knox made sure it was the defender who paid the price on this collision.

Purdue’s running back is no stranger to a big play, and he is a tough runner to bring down. Listed at 5-foot-7 and 210 lbs., Knox possesses quick feet and can make defenders miss. Or, like on this play, he can run them over with brute strength.

Knox burst through a wide open hole and quickly found himself at the second level of the defense. An Illinois defender barreled down on him and looked to have Knox in his sights. Unfortunately for the defender, Knox lowered his shoulder to deliver a blow and kept on rolling.
