Elijah Sindelar is quickly making his name known as one of the top quarterbacks in the B1G.

The fifth-year junior is playing in his first game since early September 2018, but he’s not disappointing in the first half of Purdue’s opener against Nevada. And he’s gotten better as the game has continued.

In Purdue’s final two drives, Sindelar delivered perfect strikes for touchdowns, padding the Boilermakers’ lead heading into the locker room.

Sindelar’s first touchdown pass was a 38-yard strike to Jackson Anthrop. On the very next drive, Sindelar hit Rondale Moore for a 39-yard touchdown pass. Those two scores gave Purdue a 24-7 advantage in Reno after 30 minutes.

Sindelar has put together a really solid first half for Purdue. He completed 21-of-28 pass attempts for 268 yards and three touchdowns in the first half.

Yeah, that’ll work.
