Purdue is getting an early jump on spring football this year, with practices beginning on Friday. The Boilermakers are looking to bounce back after a 2-4 year in 2020 and establish itself as a contender in the B1G West.

On Thursday, head coach Jeff Brohm met with the media as he prepares to begin his fifth season in West Lafayette. After leading Purdue to back-to-back bowl appearances in 2017 and 2018, the Boilers have struggled in the past two years, posting just a 6-12 record.

Like every other team, Purdue will have 34 days to complete 15 practices.

The Boilermakers made some offseason changes to the coaching staff, added some players from the transfer portal and are hoping that some members of the 2021 recruiting class will be able to make quick contributions.
