What Jeff Brohm said following Purdue's loss to Minnesota
Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm had hoped for a better day.
The Boilermakers held a 13-10 lead heading into the half, but failed to score in the second half of their 20-13 loss to Minnesota on Saturday. Purdue struggled on special teams and had difficulty in the red zone against the Gophers.
Quarterback Aidan O’Connell threw for 357 yards completing 33 of 51 attempts, but a 3rd down interception with less than a minute to play on the Minnesota 27 yard line was a game killer. Brohm got running back King Doerue and receiver David Bell back from injuries, but the Boilermakers still struggled to find the end zone.
Here’s what Brohm had to say after the game.

Jeff Brohm: Thought Aidan made some good throws, accurate throws up the field. He has to be able to tuck and run it at times.
