Following a weekend of upheaval around the Big Ten, Purdue and head coach Jeff Brohm return to the field this weekend for just their third game of the season.

Purdue sat out this past weekend after their scheduled opponent, Wisconsin, endured a rash of positive tests for COVID-19.

At 2-0, Purdue hosts a tough Northwestern on Saturday. After a lackluster start, the Wildcats turned on the jets in the second half this past week to beat Nebraska. With the win, Northwestern is 3-0 and No. 23 in the polls.

It will be just the third game of the season for Purdue, who impressed in beating Iowa to start the year followed by a win at Illinois.

Quarterback Aidan O’Connell, a junior, is coming off an impressive performance against Illinois where he was 29-of-35 for 371 yards with tow touchdowns.
