Zach Edey and the Purdue Boilermakers had a dominating performance in the Phil Knight Legacy Tournament. Purdue had an 80-68 win over West Virginia, an 84-66 win over No. 6 Gonzaga and a 75-56 win over No. 8 Duke.

Edey was named Phil Knight Legacy Tournament MVP as he averaged 22.7 points for 24-41 in field-goal attempts and 20-of-26 from the free-throw line. He also averaged 10.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game in the 3 tournament games.

Edey has been the leader in 5 of the 6 games this season for No. 24 Purdue as they have not only become key contenders for the B1G, but also for the NCAA tournament.
