This is why we love college football.
Week 8 didn’t provide us with quite as many upsets across the country as we saw last Saturday, but it was another hectic weekend for the sport. Purdue recorded a blowout victory over No. 2 Ohio State and Washington State pulled off an upset win over No. 12 Oregon.
And we’ve seen a shakeup in the rankings.
Four of the B1G’s six ranked teams won on Saturday, as Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan and Penn State all pulled out victories. The Buckeyes and Michigan State are the two ranked teams that lost.
It was another great weekend of football. Here’s what the Associated Press Poll looks like headed into Week 9.
