Rutgers is selling quite a lot of season tickets for the 2022 college football, according to Brian Fonseca of NewJersey.com.

Rutgers has sold a total of 21,260 season tickets for the 2022 season, which is 1,119 more season tickets from last year.

Rutgers is coming off a 5-8 record last season with a 38-10 loss to No. 20 Wake Forest in the 2021 Gator Bowl. This was Rutgers’ first season in a postseason game since the 2014 season.

Rutgers defeated Boston College 22-21 on the road this past Saturday. They are set to take on the Wagner Seahawks this Saturday.

“It’s great to be home. We can’t wait for everything about it,” Schiano told NJ Advance Media. “There’s a bunch of stuff that our marketing people are doing with the Boardwalk and a bunch of fan-experience stuff I think people are going to really enjoy. I can’t wait to get in front of our own home fans. Although, I got to tell you, the turnout up in Boston was incredible. I was blown away by the number of people on Labor Day Weekend that decided to come watch us play. I know it meant a lot to our players, a real lot.”
