Rutgers added to its 2021 recruiting class on Monday.

The Scarlet Knights received a verbal pledge from 6-foot-7, 295-pound offensive tackle Albert Reese, a native of Clearwater, Florida. He has received 17 additional offers, along with Rutgers. Reese announced his decision with a post on Twitter.

“Thank you everyone who helped me get here, you know who you are, and I will thank you personally,” Reese wrote on Twitter. “Time to #CHOP.”

Reese does not currently have any rankings from 247Sports, but several schools were interested in the offensive lineman. Among the other 17 schools who offered, Reese heard from Minnesota, Arizona State, UCF, Iowa State, Kansas, West Virginia and USF.

Rutgers still owns a top 20 class with the latest commitment from Reese, coming in at No. 16 nationally and No. 7 in the B1G. He becomes the 19th player in the 2021 cycle to commit.
