Adam Korsak has been a leader on special teams for the past 5 seasons as Rutgers’ punter.

Korsak is in his 5th season at Rutgers and he plays an important role for the team. Korsak came to Rutgers in 2018 from Australia and fit in well with the New Jersey culture. The Scarlet Knights have helped Korsak turn himself into a valuable piece on the special teams.

He had a great college career up until this point and he wanted to finish his time at Rutgers in the best way possible. Korsak detailed what it has been like relocating from Australia to New Jersey (Via Scarlet Knights):

“The people of New Jersey in general have been so great to me,” Korsak said. “At Rutgers, being able to continue studying at a great university is awesome, and most importantly, to be on this team and in the locker room with these guys.”

Korsak was named to the 2022 Ray Guy Award Watch List. He has been a tremendous punter for Rutgers and having head coach Greg Schiano back at Rutgers has helped him:

“Coach Schiano puts such an emphasis on the punt that we have starters on the unit,” Korsak said. “We have guys that are playing in the NFL now that have been on our unit. The amount of relationships that you build at a great university and football team like this is top notch, especially with the culture that Coach Schiano has built. I’m just very honored to have met the people that I have.”

On Saturday, Korsak will likely see a lot of action against Iowa.
