Al-Shadee Salaam capped off a 96-yard game-winning drive for Rutgers with a 22-yard rushing touchdown. The Scarlet Knights went on to win the game 22-21.

Rutgers started off the drive on their own 4-yard line, and marched all the way down the field in what would be the most important drive of the football game.

Gavin Wimsatt was the quarterback this time around. Rutgers did this without having Noah Vedral, who missed the game with an injury. The Scarlet Knights leaned on Wimsatt and Evan Simon.

With under 3 minutes to go in the game Salaam took the carry from Wimsatt, found some room down the sideline, and scored to put the Scarlet Knights ahead.

Rutgers will be playing Wagner next on Sept. 10 at 4 p.m. ET.
