Spring ball is virtually over for all of college football. But one B1G program is still going through practice late into May.

Due to COVID-19 issues earlier this spring, Rutgers was forced to delay its spring practice schedule, forcing Greg Schiano and company to host its spring game in late May. But the B1G spring season will officially wrap up later this week.

Rutgers will host its spring game on Thursday, May 20 with the broadcast airing on Big Ten Network. The school is permitting 5,000 spectators to attend the event at SHI Stadium in Piscataway.

The spring game will mark the final of 15 practices for Rutgers this spring. That is the allotted amount for all college football programs during this time.

So, while most schools had been wrapped up on May 1, Rutgers had a few weeks left on the spring schedule. By the end of the week, all 14 teams in the B1G will officially be getting ready for summer workouts and fall camp.
