Carroo arrested for domestic violence
A day after reports surfaced that Leonte Carroo was suspended indefinitely for an incident outside the team’s facility, those charges were made public.
Leonte Carroo was arrested and charged with simple assault under domestic violence, according to Rutgers police.

Carroo is the seventh Scarlet Knight to be arrested in the last three weeks. The Big Ten’s top returning receiver was a week removed from earning the school’s all-time touchdown receptions record.
Rutgers coach Kyle Flood, who is also under investigation for having impermissible contact with a university professor, was asked about Carroo’s pending legal charges.
Flood did his best to dismiss and definitive projections, but did say that he remains suspended indefinitely. He said that it was his decision to suspend the star receiver.
Carroo’s legal issues were likened to another former Rutgers standout.
That is the same charge that Ray Rice faced initially, although Rice's charge was elevated to third-degree aggravated assault.

Whether or not Carroo, one of the top NFL receiver prospects on the country, plays this season remains to be seen.
