Greg Schiano should have a huge smile on his face. Rutgers beat three powerhouse programs for one of the nation’s Top 175 prospects in the 2022 class.
Wednesday night, 4-star linebacker Anthony Johnson announced his commitment to the Scarlet Knights. He made his decision public with a post on Twitter.

Johnson listed Rutgers, Alabama, Auburn and Oregon in his Top 4. He’s the seventh player in the 2022 class to commit to the Scarlet Knights.
The 6-foot-1, 230-pound prospect is listed as the No. 165 player in the 2022 recruiting class, according to 247Sports. He also ranks as the No. 7 inside linebacker and the No. 6 player from Pennsylvania.
Schiano and his staff have been very active already with the 2022 recruiting class. The Scarlet Knights jumped up to No. 9 in the national recruiting rankings and No. 3 in the B1G.
