Jacob Young nearly made a highlight play on Sunday afternoon for Rutgers basketball, the guard hitting iron but setting up teammate Myles Johnson for what was a highlight worthy play of his own.

Young, who accelerated to the hoop and very nearly stuffed in a one-handed dunk, saw his attempt instead fall to Johnson, Rutgers starting center.

Johnson was responsible for the lane that allowed Young to drive to the basket in the first place, the senior center following up his teammate with a nice putback and drawing a foul in the process at the end of the first half of a tight and fun conference game.

In the battle between the two top-25 teams, Rutgers was up 59-55 with 9:32 left in the game.
