Dylan Harper, 5-star CG and Rutgers hoops target, sets commitment date

Dylan Harper, one of the top prospects in the Class of 2024, announced Monday evening that he will decided between Rutgers, Indiana, Duke, Kansas and Auburn on Wednesday, December 6.

Harper hails from Ramsey, New Jersey and is considered to be the No. 2 overall prospect in the country.

He’s a major favorite to land at his home-state school, Rutgers.

The southpaw has a long build and is effective both on and off the ball, standing at 6-6, 210 pounds. And he has the chance to join a truly special recruiting class from Steve Pikiell and Co.

Rutgers currently has the No. 11 overall recruiting class in the 2024 rankings, including one 5-star and a trio of 3-stars. Ace Bailey, the No. 3 overall prospect in the Class, is the 5-star.
