Dylan Harper, 5-star CG rated No. 2 recruit for 2024, announces B1G commitment
Dylan Harper is staying home to play Big Ten basketball. The 5-star prospect from New Jersey announced his commitment to Rutgers on Wednesday.
Harper announced his commitment in a live ceremony held in New York City. He chose the Scarlet Knights over Indiana, Auburn, Duke, Kansas and others.

Out of Don Bosco Prep, Harper is listed as measuring 6-6, 210 pounds. He is rated 5-stars, the No. 1 combo guard and No. 2 player overall in the Class of 2024 on the 247Sports Composite. He took official visits to Duke and Indiana in 2022.
Harper is the fifth member of Rutgers’ 2024 class, which ranks No. 3 nationally on the Composite. Steve Pikiell’s staff has signed the other 4 commitments, a group led by 5-star small forward Ace Bailey.
