Even though Rutgers fans only had about a week to buy tickets for the Gator Bowl, they seemed to buy all of the schools allotted tickets.

The school tweeted out a photo showing how a good chunk of fans made the trip from New Jersey down to Florida.

The Scarlet Knights weren’t supposed to be in this game originally. The Demon Deacons were set to play the Texas A&M Aggies but COVID-19 issues made them back out.

Rutgers went 5-7 during the regular season and will be looking to score a major upset against the ACC runner-up. Wake Forest comes into this contest at 10-3 overall and No. 20 in the AP Poll.

Scarlet Knights head coach Greg Schiano will be looking to win his 1st bowl game with them since 2011 when they finished 9-4 and won the Pinstripe Bowl.

Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. ET on Friday.
