Former Rutgers offensive lineman Cedrice Paillant is heading to Marshall.
Over the weekend, the 6-foot-4, 310-pound offensive lineman announced his commitment to the Thundering Herd with a post on Twitter. He spent the previous two seasons at Rutgers, playing in 20 games and making 13 starts with the Scarlet Knights.
Paillant transferred to Rutgers ahead of the 2020 season after spending time at Monroe College. He joins a program that finished the 2021 campaign with a 7-6 record.

Paillant played left guard along Rutgers’ offensive line the past two seasons. Last year, he was an Academic All-B1G selection after helping the Scarlet Knights to a 5-8 record, which included a bowl trip to the Gator Bowl.
Paillant will add size and experience to the front lines for the Thundering Herd in 2022.
