A former Rutgers running back has announced where he’ll be finishing out his football career.

Earlier this week, Trey Sneed announced that he’ll be headed to Fordham University to complete his academic and athletic career. The running back made the announcement after spending the past three seasons in Piscataway.

Sneed was a member of Rutgers’ 2016 recruiting class.

Sneed played in 24 career games for the Scarlet Knights in his three seasons with the program. He appeared in all 12 games as a true freshman in 2016 and all 12 games in 2018. He redshirted as a sophomore in 2017.

This season, he had 13 carries for 43 yards and had three receptions for 23 yards. For his career, he totaled 29 carries for 96 yards.

As a high school prospect, Sneed was a 3-star running back out of Florida.

Fordham finished the 2018 season with a 2-9 record and a 2-4 mark in Patriot League play.
