Former All-AAC DL transferring to Rutgers
Rutgers has significantly upgraded their defensive line in this recruiting class and part of it came via a new graduate transfer from Temple.
Ifeanyi Maijeh has committed to Rutgers and will likely be a starter right away.
Maijeh originally committed to Temple during the 2017 recruiting class and has blossomed ever since. He was named to the 2019 All-AAC first team due to how good he was. During that season, Maijeh had 52 tackles (36 solo) with 6.5 sacks and a forced fumble.

This past season, his numbers regressed a bit though as he had 15 total tackles (seven solo) with a forced fumble. His two best games came against Memphis and Navy when he had four total tackles each.
The 2021 season will be his last year of eligibility and he’ll look to improve on those numbers with Rutgers.
Throughout his collegiate career, he’s also been named to some watch lists for awards, which include the Berdnark and Outland ones.
