A former Division II cornerback will be finishing his college football career at Rutgers.

Earlier this week, Keenan Reid announced via Twitter that he will be completing his athletic and academic career with the Scarlet Knights. It’s another transfer addition for Greg Schiano to the 2020 class. He poached the transfer portal pretty hard during his first offseason since returning to Piscataway.

Reid, who spent the last three seasons at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, will be immediately eligible in the 2020 season as he is switching divisions.

“Extremely BLESSED and grateful to announce I will be continuing my athletic career at Rutgers University,” Reid wrote on Twitter. “Ready to represent my home state.”

While at Lincoln, Reid totaled 66 tackles, blocked six kicks and intercepted two passes in three seasons. He will be a preferred walk-on for the Scarlet Knights.

Reid is a native of Somerset, New Jersey.
