The bowl season hasn’t started just yet, but the matchups have been announced.

That’s what most people are focused on. However, it’s always recruiting season. On Sunday, Rutgers didn’t necessarily win a recruiting battle against Michigan, but the Scarlet Knights are adding a former Wolverine:

Drew Singleton originally committed to Michigan and was a part of the Wolverines’ 2017 class. Singleton, a former 4-star recruit according to 247Sports, hasn’t played a game at Michigan yet. He announced his intent to transfer in October.

Singleton is from Paramus, N.J., so it makes sense from a geographic standpoint as to why he chose Rutgers. It’s not often that a player does transfer in-conference, but Singleton should have the luxury of facing against the Wolverines at some point in the future.
