Rookie linebacker Quentin Gause was signed off the Denver Broncos practice squad and onto its active roster earlier today.

Gause, in his first-year in the NFL after graduating from Rutgers, received All-Big Ten honors last season. The former Scarlet Knight was an undrafted free agent before joining the Philadelphia Eagles and spending time with the New England Patriots.

As an Eagle in the preseason, the 24-year-old linebacker made eight tackles in three games.

Now, as a Bronco, Gause could see action against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in a matchup between two playoff hopeful teams. In his collegiate career, Gause recorded 223 tackles and 27.5 tackles for loss.
