This Thanksgiving, former Rutgers star and Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards showed an incredible gesture of kindness.

According to the NFL Players Association, Edwards donated $4,500 in gift cards that will aid 300 families in need this Thanksgiving. He was one of several players around the league who are helping out this holiday season.

Edwards’ donation will help families secure food for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Edwards has missed the 2021 season because of an injury. But during his NFL career, he’s been an excellent running back for the Ravens.

During the 2020 campaign, Edwards rushed for 723 yards and 6 touchdowns for Baltimore. He also caught 9 passes for 129 yards.
