Due to COVID-19, the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers are playing a Wednesday afternoon game as part of Week 12 action.

The unusual schedule didn’t seem to impact Ravens running back Gus Edwards. The former Scarlett Knight gave his team the lead on this touchdown late in the first quarter:

Overall, this has been a crazy game. The Steelers and Ravens exchanged turnovers on three consecutive possessions, including a pick-6 for Pittsburgh to give them an early lead. However, the Steelers missed the extra point.

Edwards only spent one year at Rutgers, but it was memorable. He rushed for 713 yards and six touchdowns with the Scarlett Knights in 2017. He also caught 13 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.

The Ravens picked up Edwards as an undrafted free agent in 2018 and he has been able to carve out a role in their offense. This was his eighth career touchdown in 38 games.

Baltimore is currently in a fight to make the playoffs via a wildcard spot. The Steelers are 10-0 and likely to win the AFC North regardless of this game’s outcome.
